What is a Founding Partner School?

Founding Partner Schools collaborate closely with the Skylio team during the early growth of the platform. They receive personalized onboarding, priority support, and early access to upcoming capabilities while helping shape future product enhancements through regular feedback.

Why is Skylio free for the first two years?

We believe schools that trust us during our early journey should continue to benefit from that partnership. Rather than spending heavily on advertising, we're investing in long-term relationships with schools that help us shape the future of the platform. After the first two years the core platform moves to a low, guaranteed price that is agreed in writing when you join — see the Founding Partner Program for the full five-year picture.

Can we export our data?

Yes. Your data always belongs to your school. Standard exports will always be available.

How do you make money?

From optional premium modules on top of the core platform, and in time from ecosystem services — verified partners, parent benefits, admissions tools. All of it is opt-in and clearly priced. None of it involves selling data.

Who owns our data?

Your school does. We store and process it so the platform works, we do not sell it or share it with advertisers, and you can export it whenever you like — including on the way out.

How long does migration take?

For most schools, days rather than weeks. Clean records in a spreadsheet can be live within a day or two; messier data takes longer because we check it with you rather than importing it blind.

Can you migrate from another ERP?

Yes. We have taken schools off existing systems, off spreadsheets, and off paper registers. Export whatever your current system gives you and we will work with it.

Is training included?

Yes, and it is part of onboarding rather than a paid add-on. We run a live session for your teachers and office staff, and we are on hand through the first fee cycle and the first report card run.

Is support included?

Yes. Founding Partner Schools get priority support and a direct line to the team that set them up — not a ticket queue behind bigger accounts.
